Singer, Teni under fire for disrespecting Buhari

Nigerian musician, Teni Makanaki is being criticized for allegedly ignoring and refusing to shake hands with President Buhari as she is conferred with a National Honors Award in Abuja.

Teni who was conferred the Member of the Order of Niger (MON) was seen walking away immediately she received the plaque without shaking hands with the President.

Some Nigerians have faulted the way and manner the singer received the award and have taken to twitter to air their displeasure.
