Former PDP Chairmanship candidate in Ohimini Local Government Area of Benue State, Arc. Eric Adokwu, after a wide consultation has on Wednesday(27/6/2018) declared his intention to vie for Otukpo/Ohimini House of Representative seat in the forth coming elections.
Adokwu whose philanthropic activities cut across party lines said his decision to gun for the green chamber was to both human and capital development of the Federal Constituency.
According to him, if given the mandate he would utilize opportunity to better the lots of the people of Otukpo/Ohimini.
Adokwu who decried the lackadaisical approach and poor performance of some legislators in the country said Otukpo/ Ohimini federal constituency being the mother of the entire Benue-South could not afford not to present her best.
In his words “this is the time to get it right. The era of redundancy is gone. We must vote for a candidate that will enhance growth and development of our land”.
Adokwu who said that the contest is not a do or die affair explained that ” it is time to choose the most competent and sound mind who is capable of bringing redemption to the people”.
He disclosed that as a qualified architect, if given the mandate, he would not be a bench Warmer as according to him, he is intellectually endowed to galvanize the collective interest of the entire constituency.
