2021 budget: National Assembly approves N74bn budget for Police Trust Funds

The Senate and House of Representatives Joint Committee on Police Affairs has approved N74bn for the Nigeria Police Trust Fund (NPTF) as 2021 budget.

NPTF Executive Secretary Ahmad Sokoto disclosed this Wednesday after a close-door meeting with the committee.

He said the budget would be used to, among other things, train personnel of the Police Force and purchase equipment.
