2022 poll: Ekiti SSG, Biodun Oyebanji resigns

Secretary to Government of Ekiti State Biodun Oyebanji has resigned from office.

The political scientist and former university teacher has been endorsed by many stakeholders for governor on the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC).

Governor Kayode Fayemi has accepted his resignation, wishing him success in his future endeavours.

The resignation, which was conveyed in a letter to the governor, dated December 3, 2021, takes effect from Tuesday.

Oyebanji had cited his decision to contest the governorship election in the State for his resignation.

Fayemi thanked the former SSG for his remarkable contribution to the administration since its inception in 2018 and wished him well in his future endeavours.
