2022 U-17 WWC: Flamingos coach, Olowookere unveils 21 player squad

Nigeria Under 17 Women’s head coach, Bankole Olowookere has named his final squad to travel to FIFA U17 World Cup in India.

Olowookere named the 21 player squad on Friday after the visit to the India High Commission as they were hosted to a dinner by His Excellency Gangaharan Balasubramanian.

21 Flamingoes for FIFA World Cup:

Goalkeepers: Faith Omilana; Linda Jiwuaku; Jessica Inyiama

Defenders: Olamide Oyinlola; Josephine Edafe; Comfort Folorunsho; Miracle Usani; Tumininu Adeshina; Blessing Sunday; Alase Attervall; Immaculata Offiong

Midfielders : Chidera Okenwa; Blessing Emmanuel; Mary Aderemi; Bisola Mosaku; Taiwo Afolabi

Forwards : Omowunmi Bello; Opeyemi Ajakaye; Edidiong Etim; Alvine Dah-Zossu; Yetunde Ayantosho

Flamingoes are in group B of the World Cup and will battle it out with Germany, Chile and New Zealand.

The team is expected to camp in Turkey next week before going for the tournament proper in India.
