The trio of Ashleigh Plumptre, Francisca Ordega and Halimat Ayinde, have arrived the Super Falcons Abuja camp ahead of next month’s Women’s Africa Cup of Nations.
The arrival of the three players was announced on the Super Falcons verified Twitter handle on Tuesday morning.
Following the latest arrivals, the number of players in the Falcons camp is now 28.
From the number of players in camp head coach Randy Waldrum, will select the 23-woman squad that would be in Morocco for the WAFCON.
The Falcons will take on Banyana Banyana of South Africa, Botswana and Burundi in Group C.
The nine-time African champions will begin the defense of their title against South Africa on July 4 in Rabat.
Meanwhile, the 2022 WAFCON will serve as qualifiers for next year’s World Cup to be co-hosted by Australia and New Zealand.
