The participation of the 24 nations in the upcoming Africa Cup of Nations has been officially confirmed. This confirmation follows the successful qualification of Cameroon and Namibia, both securing their spots on Tuesday.
Cameroon’s Indomitable Lions displayed their dominance by defeating Burundi 3-0, securing the top spot in Group C and earning their 19th consecutive appearance in the finals. Meanwhile, Namibia clinched the second spot in the group, solidifying their presence at the upcoming competition.
Several football powerhouses, including Senegal, Egypt, Nigeria, Ghana, Morocco, and Algeria, have already secured their tickets to the tournament.
Gambia, although not debutants, will be making their second appearance at the AFCON.
