President Muhammadu Buhari on Sunday night met with the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Bola Ahmed Tinubu, and the national chairman of the party, Abdullahi Adamu.
IDOMA VOICE reports that the special assistant to the president on digital communications, Bashir Ahmad announced the development in a tweet on Sunday night.
The meeting comes ahead of the formal flag-off of the party’s presidential campaign, scheduled to take place in Jos, the Plateau capital.
The meeting between the trio is coming hours after President Buhari returned to Abuja from London in the United Kingdom after embarking on a two-week medical check-up.
The Presidential jet which conveyed Buhari, landed at the Presidential Wing of the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja, around 8:30 pm.
