Frontline politician and elder statesman, Major General Harrison Adoga has pitched his tent with the Labour Party in Benue State, IDOMA VOICE can report.
Adoga, who was Commander Army Head Quarters Garrison and Commandant, Nigerian Army Infantry Centre and School(ICS), Jaji, announced his defection to Labour Party on Friday, IDOMA VOICE reports.
Adoga was welcomed to the party by its senatorial candidate in Benue South, Joe Ojobo, House of Reps candidate for Otukpo/Ohimini, Lordsam Ogbole and a host of others.
Reacting to the defection of General Adoga, Ogbole predicted victory for the Labour Party in 2023.
He said, “It is a pleasure to receive General Harrison Adoga rtd. to the Labour Party.
“Our ranks are swelling. Gradually, the no structure Party is resonating with our individual appeals
Trust me, we are in the simple majority, and we shall win.
No amount of hypnotic suggestions can cow us.!”
