2023: House2House assures Ngbede of resounding victory

House2House Support Group for Uba/Ngbede 2023 yesterday, 25th June 2022, in Obagaji, Agatu local Government reassured Sir John Ngbede of a victorious run in the 2023 gubernatorial election in Benue State.

The delegation which was led by the Director General of the group, Hon. Ediga Akpa noted that the choice for Rt. Hon. Titus Uba and John Ngbede by the Benue State Peoples Democratic Party was a tactical and indicated political experience and preparedness by the party to win elections in the state.

“The decision to choose Sir John Ngbede as running mate to Rt. Hon. Titus Uba has once again proven that Sir Ngbede is messiah for the people of Agatu, therefore we are going to offer him our full support like we did the first time”, Sir John Ngbede has proven through his track records of achievements at various offices held before, that he has capability to deliver on this mandate given them and also stated that he is the man of the people’, Hon. Ediga stated.

Also speaking at the event, Mr Salifu Odaudu Adah who spoke on behalf of the “Friends of Ngbede” who organized the reception in honor of Ngbede and Hon Gabriel Olofu, Comr Paul Benjamin Ochoche, Comr Abu Elijah Adaegahi, Comr Abiola, Sule Sani and Joseph Odaudu all submitted that it was God’s plan to make things right for the PDP Deputy Governorship candidate as he has all the needed parameters for victory on his part, and were certain that he would win.

Others who spoke included Dan Ale, John Amali and Michael Obiabo who also reiterated the support of the people of Agatu and the entire Benue South to the Uba/Ngbede ticket presented by the party and will work assiduously to see it’s success.

Hon. Mrs Okwakoyi Eghiaruwa, former chairman Agatu local Government in her statement, acknowledged that the passing down of the baton to the duo of Uba and Ngbede was an indication that good things were to come for the youths and women of the state, she therefore encouraged the people to come out enmasse to register for the ongoing voter card registration by INEC so that they could offer support to the Uba/Ngbede ticket.’ Hon Eghiaruwa stated.

Speaking, the State Chairman of People’s Democratic Party (PDP), Benue State and Deputy Governorship designate, Hon. Sir John Ngbede has urged the good people of Benue South to vote only PDP Candidates in all elective positions in 2023.

“I thank my friends for the befitting reception they organised for me and I will continue to hold them to a very high esteem as usual. I believe our existing relationship will be sustained continuously as long as we are alive”.

“For those yet to get their voters’ cards, go and get yours and use them for PDP victories in 2023. The unprecedented love you have just shown to me should be translated into action through the use of your voters cards in 2023 by voting Uba/Ngbede Governorship ticket and all other PDP Candidates in all categories of elections in Benue South”, he said.

Sir Ngbede congratulated all PDP Candidates in advance as he opined that the embattled opposition party in Benue State, the All Progressives Congress (APC), may not feature any candidate in the 2023 general elections due to its fraudulent primaries.

The Ogbenjuwa’G’Adogoji also used the opportunity to reconcile both the winners and losers at the just concluded primaries in Apa and Agatu as all the contestants in turn, promised to remain in PDP and work together for the growth and victory of the party in all future elections.

Highlight of the occasion which was held at LGEA Primary School Obagaji was the presentation of cultural dances by different cultural troupes.
