Ahead of the 2023 general elections, the Peoples Democratic Party has elected its flag bearers for House of Representatives.
IDOMA VOICE reports that there was no consensus in any of the federal constituencies, thus making all aspirants to go to the poll.

The incumbent, Francis Ottah Agbo lost his return bid ticket to a young lawyer, Aida Nath Ogwuche.
She scored 71 votes against Hon. Agbo, who scored 35, IDOMA VOICE reports.
Otukpo/Ohimini
Alex Ogbe Enokela, also known as Ochacho Junior, a younger brother of billionaire realtor, Mohammed Odeh, emerged PDP candidate to face David Mark’s daughter in Otukpo and Ohimini Federal Constituency race.
Hon. Ogbe defeated his closest rival, Hon. Oche Joseph Godwin AKA G12 with 48 votes against 22, IDOMA VOICE reports.

Samson Ajah Okwu won the PDP primary election held at Oju local government Pavilion, Oju Benue State.
Okwu floored his opponent, Major General Ede Ode to win the PDP ticket for the third time.
He polled 71 ahead of Major General Ede, who scored 25 votes, IDOMA VOICE reports.

Pastor Ojema Ojotu has emerged as the PDP House of Reps candidate, Apa/Agatu Federal Constituency for the forthcoming 2023 National Assembly election.
He defeated his closest rival, Hon James Melvin Ejeh with 2 votes margin.
The immediate past Commissioner for Youth and Sports Development and State Chairman, Joint Public Service Negotiation I, II, and III scored 27 votes while Hon Melvin got 25 votes, IDOMA VOICE reports.
