PDP asked to pick Wike as Atiku’s running mate
The Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, has been advised to pick Rivers State Governor, Nyesom wike as running mate to its candidate, Atiku Abubakar.
IDOMA VOICE reports that Atiku had on Saturday floored Wike and others to pick the sole presidential ticket of the main opposition party.
Wike breaks silence after losing PDP ticket to Atiku, revels next step
Atiku polled about 371 votes to beat Wike who garnered about 273 votes.
Reacting, social activist and members of the PDP, Deji Adeyanju said Wike will bring an extraordinary vibe to PDP campaign if made running mate to Atiku.
He wrote, “Wike is the strongest option available in PDP for Vice President. The energy and vibe he will bring to their campaign will be extraordinary.”
