A 102-year-old woman, Nonye Josephine Ezeanyaeche, has declared intention to join the 2023 presidential race.
The indigene of Aguata in Anambra State however didn’t state the party under which she will seek the office.
Ezeanyaeche stated this during a media visit to the management of the Nigerian Television Authority (NTA) in Abuja.
Ezeanyaeche, popularly known as Mama Africa, is the founder of the ‘Voice for Senior Citizens of Nigeria’ group.
NTA Director-General, Yakubu Ibn Mohammed, who received Ezeanyaeche and her entourage, described her as patriot, nationalist and advocate of a better Nigeria.
