Governorship Candidate of Labour Party (LP) in Kaduna State, Mr Shunom Adinga, says he has established contact with the Islamic Movement in Nigeria (IMN) to seek their support for the party’s candidates, including Peter Obi, in 2023.
He said LP as a party will try to ensure that all the aggrieved groups in the country are brought to the political forum to contribute their quota in the development of the country.
The LP governorship candidate who disclosed this during a press conference at the state party secretariat in Kaduna also urged the IMN group and other Nigerians to support his candidature and that of Obi.
“We try as much as possible to bring aggrieved members of the society together such as Shiites group, which is the El-Zazaky. We have consulted them. We have had clear understanding with them to collaborate with the incoming government of Peter Obi,” he said.
He also claimed that no party in the country is as famous as Labour Party because Nigeria has more number of workers than the number of politicians, saying his core area of expertise is Human resources.
He described Labour party as the biggest and one of most populous parties in the country.
On teachers loosing their jobs in Kaduna, he said government that will not partner with its workers and give them the standard operational procedure lacks creativity.
