2023: Senator Abba Moro backs Gov Ortom for Senate

Distinguished Senator Abba Moro, earlier today, chaired the formal inauguration of ZONE B YOUTH MOVEMENT FOR ORTOM (ZYMO), which held at Benue Hotels, Makurdi. ZYMO is a socio-political group formed to drum support for H.E., Dr Samuel Ortom, the Executive Governor of Benue State, for Senate in 2023.

In his speech, Senator Moro said Governor Ortom had performed creditably well within the available resources at his disposal, and that the call on him by the people of Zone B to represent them in the Senate was very much in order. He said as a former LGA Chairman, Minister and governor for Eight years, as the Defender of the Benue Valley, the governor has the experience, courage and strength to represent not just Zone B but the entire State in the Senate. He charged the group to take the message to all the nooks and crannies of the Senatorial District.

The inauguration involved the unveiling of the State Working Committee, LGA Coordinators and the Patroness of the group.

The Distinguished Senator was accompanied by Rt.Hon. Ezekiel Adaji, immediate past House of Representatives member representating Otukpo/ Ohimini Federal Constituency, and other political associates.
