Second Republic lawmaker, Senator Tilley-Gyado, has been urged to support the agitation for Benue South Senatorial District to produce Benue State governor in 2023.
Gyado got the plea when the National Coordinator-NC, of Benue Rebirth Movement (BRM), Air Vice Marshal Monday Morgan, led team of the BRM Project Management Committee-PMC on a consultative visit to his Abuja residence.
The visit entails solicitating the support of the former Senator representing Benue North East Senatorial district-Zone A, for Benue South senatorial district to produce the next Benue Governor come 2023.
During the visit, Senator Gyado acknowledged the appeal, the BRM and its leadership, saying that the Idoma 9 LGAs gave him bloc votes during the UNCP era without looking back, and that he would respect the new awakening by talking to other power Brokers in his zone and other zones for effective and fair consideration for the subject on table.
He however advised that the Idoma Paramount Ruler, the Och’Idoma and all his Chiefs, have persistent roles to play in the struggle.
