This prestigious ceremony, hosted in the vibrant and culturally rich city of Marrakesh, Morocco, brought together football icons and enthusiasts from across the continent to celebrate outstanding achievements throughout the year.
Nigeria’s Ademola Lookman stole the spotlight as he was crowned CAF Men’s Footballer of the Year, succeeding his compatriot and teammate Victor Osimhen. Lookman’s consistent and exceptional performances over the past year cemented his place as Africa’s top male footballer.
In the women’s category, Zambia’s Barbra Banda emerged triumphant, claiming the CAF Women’s Footballer of the Year Award in recognition of her stellar displays and contributions to the sport.
