The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has directed all candidates who applied for the 2024 Direct Entry (DE) admission using awaiting results from the Interim Joint Matriculation Board (IJMB) and Joint Universities Preliminary Examinations Board (JUPEB) to upload their results at any approved Computer-Based Test (CBT) center immediately after release.
Failure to comply, JAMB warned, will result in disqualification from the 2024 DE admission process. This was stated by JAMB’s Public Communication Advisor, Dr. Fabian Benjamin, in a press statement issued yesterday.
“During the 2024 DE registration, some candidates applied with awaiting results from IJMB and JUPEB but have yet to upload them. No candidate will be considered for admission without verified results, just as it applies to UTME candidates,” Benjamin emphasized.
He added that any application still marked as “awaiting result” (AR) will be disqualified from admission consideration, as only candidates with properly uploaded and verified credentials will be eligible.
Furthermore, JAMB advised prospective 2025 DE candidates to be proactive by ensuring their awaiting results are uploaded promptly once released, as this will enhance their chances of securing admission.
