2027: ADC governorship aspirant Engr Andrew Aba consults Idoma Traditional Rulers
Ahead of the upcoming gubernatorial primaries and his quest to make an Idoma Governor of Benue State, Engr. Andrew Aba, the governorship aspirant under the African Democratic Congress (ADC), has embarked on a consultation tour with traditional rulers across Benue South.
His tour covered several local government areas. In Ado, he met HRH Ada Ado, Chief Joseph Oche-Ikor Onazi, and his council of chiefs. In Ohimini, he engaged HRH Chief John Ochayi Ad’Ohimini and his chiefs, while in Okpokwu he met HRH Chief Ejembi James Okefe Ad’Okpokwu. In Ogbadibo and Apa, he held discussions with Ad’Ogbadibo HRH Chief Emmanuel Odeh and HRH Chief John Antenyi, respectively.
During the consultations, Engr. Aba highlighted the critical role of traditional leadership in governance and community development. He outlined his commitment to tackling pressing issues, particularly insecurity, and shared his vision for sustainable growth and unity in Benue State.
The traditional rulers responded by sharing insights on local challenges and community aspirations. They urged Aba to adopt an inclusive approach to ensure collaboration and achieve his developmental goals for the state.
