2027: Emama Ikwue receives royal blessing for Otukpo/Ohimini Reps bid

The Nigerian Democratic Party, NDP, candidate for Otukpo/Ohimini Federal Constituency in the 2027 general elections, Hon. Emama Oyidu Ikwue, has received royal blessings from the Ejehlote I of Otukpo/Ohimini, HRH Chief Emmanuel Oche Okochi.

Oyidu visited the traditional ruler at his palace alongside her Campaign Director-General, Pastor Comrade John Iya, and other members of her campaign team.

During the visit, Okochi offered prayers for Oyidu and wished her success in her bid to represent Otukpo/Ohimini Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives.

Responding, Oyidu thanked the traditional ruler for receiving her and offering prayers for her campaign.

She said her ambition was driven by a desire to provide what she described as purposeful leadership and meaningful representation for the people of Otukpo and Ohimini local government areas.

Oyidu pledged to work with traditional rulers, community leaders and other stakeholders in the constituency if elected in 2027.

The visit comes as the NDP candidate intensifies consultations ahead of the 2027 House of Representatives election.
