2027: Ichama APC stakeholders back Alia/Ode for second term, adopt Ali for Enone Reps seat

Ahead of the 2027 general elections, stakeholders from Ichama Ward 1 and Ward 2 have unanimously endorsed Governor Hyacinth Iormem Alia and his Deputy, Barr Sam Ode, Mni, for re-election, while formally adopting Prince Simon Ali as the APC aspirant for the Ado, Okpokwu, and Ogbadibo Federal Constituency seat in the House of Representatives.

The endorsements took place during a solidarity rally and town hall meeting on February 28, 2026, where party faithfuls reaffirmed their support for the governor, his deputy, and Prince Simon Ali.

The rally drew wide participation from party stakeholders, including Ichama ward chairmen, local government executives, the Nigeria Union of Teachers (NUT) Ichama branch, the Farmers Association Ichama branch, the Okada Union, and the Market Women Association.

Prince Simon Ali pledged to deliver 200,000 votes for Governor Alia and Deputy Governor Ode across the Enone Federal Constituency and called on all sons and daughters of Ichama to rally behind his candidacy.

The event also provided a platform to galvanize grassroots support for the administration of Governor Alia and Barr Sam Ode.
