The All Progressives Congress (APC) has dismissed as fake news reports circulating on social media claiming to reveal the cost of its nomination and expression of interest forms for the 2027 general elections.
The party described the purported price list as misleading, insisting that it did not originate from its leadership.

In a statement signed by its National Publicity Secretary, Felix Morka, the ruling party said no official decision had been taken on the sale or pricing of forms for the 2027 polls.

“To be clear, no decision or announcement has been made on the sale or pricing of forms for the 2027 elections. The report is a mere figment of the writer’s mischievous imagination,” the statement read.

The APC urged party members, the media, and the general public to disregard the report in its entirety, stressing that any official information would be communicated through authorised party channels.

Meanwhile, the ruling party recently concluded its national convention held in Abuja between Friday and Saturday.
