29-year-old Lady set lover’s house ablaze after quarrel in Benue

A 29-year-old lady (name withheld) has been apprehended by the police after she allegedly set her boyfriend’s apartment ablaze after a quarrel in the Achusah Area of Makurdi town.

It was gathered from an eyewitness that the girl carried out the dastardly act Wednesday morning at about 9:00 am when the boyfriend left for work.

According to him “the flames from the victim’s house attracted the attention of neighbours who rushed to help put off the burning building.

This latest incident is coming just about 5months after a man in his 40s, identified as Nicodemus Nomwange, set himself and his girlfriend, Shiminenge Pam, ablaze at the High-Level area of Makurdi town. And within the same period a young woman also allegedly set her lover ablaze in his residence on Shaahu Road in Gboko town.
