300 trucks to lift petrol from Dangote Refinery on Sunday – NNPC
The Nigerian National Petroleum Company (NNPC) Limited announced on Saturday that approximately 300 trucks have arrived at the Dangote Refinery in anticipation of the scheduled petrol loading.
According to a statement from the company’s Chief Corporate Communications Officer, Olufemi Soneye, the trucks have been stationed at the refinery’s fuel loading gantry.
Soneye shared the update via X, stating: “NNPC Ltd. trucks are arriving at the Dangote Refinery in preparation for the scheduled petrol loading on Sunday, September 15, 2024. By the end of today, at least 300 trucks will be stationed at the refinery’s fuel loading gantry.”
NNPC also confirmed that trucks have been mobilized for the loading process.
“In preparation for the Dangote Refinery’s scheduled petrol loading on Sunday, September 15, 2024, NNPC Ltd. has been mobilizing trucks to the refinery’s fuel loading gantry in Ibeju-Lekki. As of Saturday afternoon, over 100 trucks have been deployed, with many more en route,” the company wrote on X.
This follows last week’s announcement by Dangote Group Chairman Aliko Dangote regarding the commencement of fuel production at the refinery.
