Some armed men suspected to be Fulani herdsmen have invaded Uwherun community in Ugheli-North Local Government Area of Delta State, shooting sporadically and forcing residents in the area to flee their homes and farmlands.
Chairman of Ugheli-North LGA, Godwin Adode who confirmed the fresh attack says, 2 locals who sustained severe bullet wounds are currently battling for their lives in a hospital.
The Council Chairman also says 4 persons among residents of the area have been killed and burnt beyond recognition by the suspected armed fulani herdsmen, within the last 48 hours.
