70- year-old father of 7 jumps into well in Otukpo (PHOTOS)

Residents of Okokoro Road, Otukpo area of Benue State were during the weekend thrown into confusion after a 70-year-old man identified as Inuwa (surname withheld) was found dead in his well.

The reason for his action could not be ascertain as the deceased did not leave any suicide not behind.


A resident told DAILY POST that, “we’ve been looking for him since Friday, thinking he might have gone to somewhere and maybe lost his way home not knowing that he fell into the well, not until this morning we noticed a very large object in the well, in the process of trying to figure it out. We discovered that it was his lifeless remain”. A source told Idoma Voice.

Mallam Inuwa, who is survived by 7 children, has been taken to his country home in Odogomu in Ankpa local government area of Kogi State.

The police said they were not aware of the incident at the time of this report.
