Hamas attack: Israel forms emergency govt, Gantz to join Netanyahu

On Wednesday afternoon, an emergency government was swiftly established following a meeting between Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and National Unity leader Benny Gantz at the IDF headquarters in Tel Aviv earlier in the day.

The meeting, which lasted for half an hour, concluded with legal representatives from Likud and National Unity remaining to finalize the specifics of the agreement.

As part of this development, Gantz and notable party members, including Gadi Eisenkot and Gideon Sa’ar, alongside two other representatives, will be inaugurated as ministers for the duration of the ongoing war.
