An Abia State University lecturer, identified as Anucha Wisdom, made a romantic gesture by proposing to his fiancée in her classroom on Wednesday.

Images and videos circulating on social media capture the heartwarming moment when Wisdom knelt down with a ring in hand, popping the question to his beloved, who is reportedly a student in the Optometry Department of the university. The excitement from her classmates echoed through the room as she joyfully accepted his proposal.

One Facebook user, Possible Nwaohamuo, shared pictures from the event, exclaiming, “What a memorable Valentine’s Day! My boss, Anucha Wisdom, proposed to his fiancée! Note he didn’t just find love outside his territory but inside his territory! Lecturer and student love! Congratulations boss. Let the countdown begin.”

Another Facebook user, Noble Ugo Anucha, also shared a video and images of the proposal, expressing congratulations and excitement for the couple. “Hearty congrats, Dedem Anucha Wisdom.
