BREAKING: Tinubu departs Lagos for Abuja

President Bola Tinubu has left Lagos for Abuja, where he is set to inaugurate several projects overseen by the Federal Capital Territory Administration. Departing from the Presidential Wing of the Murtala Muhammed International Airport, Lagos, at 11:43 am, President Tinubu was bid farewell by Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, Chief of Staff to the President, Femi Gbajabiamila, and other government dignitaries.
During his time in Lagos, the President officially marked the commencement of construction for the Lagos-Calabar Coastal Highway, a transformative project spanning 700 kilometers and expected to spur economic growth and development in rural communities.
President Tinubu also presided over the unveiling of the refurbished Apapa-Oworonshoki-Ojota Expressway and the renovated Third Mainland Bridge. Additionally, he remotely inaugurated the rehabilitation of 330 roads and bridges nationwide.
Upon arrival in Abuja, President Tinubu is scheduled to inaugurate the southern Parkway from Christian Centre to Ring Road One, among other initiatives.
