Legal battle erupts within Benue APC

The political crisis within the Benue State chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has intensified. The dissolved Augustine Agada-led executive has taken legal action against the party’s National Chairman, Abdullahi Ganduje, accusing him of contempt. Despite a restraining order issued by a Benue State High Court on Wednesday, which prohibited the dissolution of the State Working Committee, the APC leadership proceeded with the dissolution later that day. Agada and eight other members of the dissolved executive filed a motion against Ganduje, seeking judicial intervention to enforce compliance with the court’s order.

Former Benue APC Chairman, Austin Agada stays resolute

Ousted Benue APC chairman, Austin Agada, has described himself as a “product of struggle” and remains optimistic despite the recent developments. Agada reacted to his removal by the National Working Committee, stating that he is undeterred and sees “light at the end of the tunnel.”
