‘I love music more than any girl I’ve dated’ – Tyler, The Creator

American rapper and singer, Tyler, The Creator, has revealed the depth of his lifelong passion for music, describing it as a love that surpasses any romantic relationship he has ever had.

In a recent Instagram conversation, the Grammy-winning artist opened up about how his connection to music began in early childhood and has remained his most important priority.

“Music isn’t just a hobby for me,” Tyler said. “As a kid, I wasn’t into toys, I was into CDs.”

He recalled how much joy he found in simply browsing music collections. “I loved when my mom took me to the store. I would sit by the CD racks and read the credits. That was the best thing in the world to me.”

Tyler also shared that his devotion to music shaped many of his personal choices, even in relationships.

“I was at birthday parties, but mentally I was at Warehouse Music,” he said. “I love music more than any girl I’ve ever dated, and they know that. I’d tell them, ‘I like you, but you’ll never come before music.’ Making music is forever for me.”
