Police foil robbery attempt at NYSC lodge in Dass, Bauchi

The Bauchi State Police Command has foiled an armed robbery at the National Youth Service Corps, NYSC, lodge in Dass town, Dass Local Government Area.

According to sources, the incident occurred early Monday when unidentified hoodlums attempted to break into the lodge at Bayan Padah through a window to steal mobile phones.

The suspects abandoned their mission and fled after spotting a police patrol team. One person, Dauda Yunusa, sustained minor injuries and was treated and discharged at Dass General Hospital.

Police have intensified efforts to track down and arrest the fleeing suspects.
