Benue Head of Service Agbogbo Ode is dead
The Benue State Government has confirmed the passing of the state’s Head of Service, Agbogbo Ode.
Ode reportedly died on Saturday after a short illness.
In a statement issued on Saturday by the Secretary to the State Government, Serumun Deborah, the late Head of Service was described as an experienced technocrat and highly respected public servant whose death is a huge setback for the state.
According to the statement, Ode earned admiration for his integrity, commitment, and remarkable impact on the growth and effectiveness of the Benue State Civil Service.
It added that his period in office was marked by diligence, professionalism, and unwavering dedication to strengthening public institutions.
The government also sympathized with his family, colleagues, friends, associates, and members of the civil service in Benue State, while praying for the repose of his soul.
