2027: ‘Atiku campaign council structure still evolving’ — ADC

The African Democratic Congress, ADC, Presidential Campaign Council has said more appointments will be announced as it expands its campaign structure ahead of the 2027 general election.

The Director of Strategic Communications of the council, Phrank Shaibu, disclosed this in a statement on Saturday following the release of the latest list of appointments.

The council’s campaign structure is chaired by Kashim Ibrahim-Imam, while former Kaduna State Governor, Nasir El-Rufai, serves as Deputy Chairman.

Shaibu said the latest list was not the final composition of the council, adding that consultations were ongoing and more responsibilities would be assigned as the campaign structure expands across the country.

“The campaign is still evolving. Consultations are continuing, and further responsibilities will be assigned as the structure expands across the country,” he said.

He appealed to supporters who were not included in the latest list to remain patient, saying additional appointments would be announced as the structure develops.

Shaibu said the campaign would also unveil its zonal and state structures, as well as other levels of organisation extending to wards and polling units in the coming days.
