EFCC graduates 328 cadets
President Muhammadu Buhari says his administration will continue to demonstrate the willingness to fight corruption in the country by strengthening anti corruption institutions.
The president who stated this at the passing out parade of 328 cadet officers of the economic and financial crime commission, EFCC at the Nigerian defense academy, kaduna says it is possible to have a society where the corrupt will be reduced to endangered species.
Represented by the secretary to the federal government, boss Mustapha, President Muhammadu Buhari says corruption has given Nigeria a bad image and has fueled terrorism, banditry, political violence which have denied millions of Nigerians access to good life, good health and sound education, and calling on the young officers to join in fighting the menace.
The president calls on the officers to justify the investment on them by fighting corruption to a stand still.
With the rise of internet fraud in Nigeria, many say it is an opportunity for the young officers to apply themselves in arresting the trend.
The president says fighting corruption calls for total vigilance and the resolve by all to achieve defeat.
