New Service Chiefs: ‘It is disappointing that Buhari appointed largely Northern Muslim male’ – Jonathan’s ex-aide

Reno Omokri, former aide to ex-President, Goodluck Jonathan, has reacted to the appointed of new Service Chiefs by President Muhammadu Buhari.

Idoma VOICE reports that Buhari has appointed Major-General Leo Irabor, Chief of Defence Staff, Major-General I. Attahiru, Chief of Army Staff, Rear Admiral A.Z Gambo, Chief of Naval Staff, Air-Vice Marshal I.O Amao, Chief of Air Staff as new service chiefs.

Howeever, Omokri believes the appointment is disappointing.

He tweetedm “I commend General @MBuhari for listening to voices of reason and sacking his clueless and nepotistic service chiefs.

“Good riddance to bad rubbish. It is disappointing that he maintained his practice of appointing largely Northern Muslim males, but half bread is better than none.”
