A Catholic Priest with the Diocese of Makurdi, Rev.Fr. Solomon Ukeyima is reported to have donated a house to an aged woman, Mama Agatha Kwasena.

Father Ukeyima is a priest with St. Augustine’s Catholic Parish Demekpe, Makurdi, the Benue State Capital.

He is the founder of the popular Tiv Cultural Festival, “Kyegh Sha Shwa” (KSS). KSS is an annual event that is designed to foster peace, unity and cultural renaissance of Tiv cultural values.

Mama Agatha like the biblical widow’s mite had sometimes in 2020 visited to console Fr. Solomon Ukeyima after he was robbed.

According to local medium, Citizen TV, sources said, Mama had taken along with her six eggs on the visit which she presented to Fr. Ukeyima and the six eggs became the foundation of an enduring interest in Mama by the priest who later gifted this beautiful house to her.

The source added; “This is the reason we cry when someone is no longer here with us. An old woman who was living in uncompleted and uncomfortable building is now living in a very comfortable house and conducive environment. This can only be God.

“I pray God continue to give Padre Mfa more grace, strength, wisdom and understanding, and bless him financially to continue being a blessing to others.”

“Indeed Fr Solomon Mfa is a man sent by God. He has taken the word of God to the level in which some men of God find it difficult to attain, no doubt, Fr Mfa is Moses of our time.”

Fr. Ukeyima fondly called “Tor KSS” had written on his timeline to give testimony of the feat. He said, “Today is a testimony of a recent miracle: A House Built By Six-Eggs.”
