A discouraging discovery (Opinion)

Having been in the Industry as an entrepreneur for a decade now operating in my father land (IDOMA) and today while seating down to carefully take a stock of home based patronage from own kinsmen, evaluate and appraise my labour over the years both for myself, my family, on the youths of the land and the land in general, I have come to discover that; our kinsmen have this discouraging habit of appreciating you, your work, your products, your services and patronising you when they have no substance and they need your service or product cheaply even most times for credit and for free even purposely refusing to pay. But, the very moment they assumed to have arrived and begin to have “Small Substance Change” and it is time for them to pay very well for products and services, they automatically begin to see faults, error, substandardness in your products and services and even begin to relegate you to the background thereby, start going else where to patronize and pay huge sum for the same products and services.

I think this is in a way wickedness, wizardry and killing the growth of the younger generation which to me does not encourage local growth of our local economy thereby, making our young entrepreneurs in other to survive run away from the homestead to other land invariably throwing permanently into the hand of strangers the very great economy of our land which adversely has turned us even the indigenes into a second class citizens in our own father land been ruled and controlled economically by the very strangers that controls the economy of our land.
There is a need for a change of narrative as for this attitude as we all responsively agree, rise up, come together and join force to upturn these ugly status quo for the growth of our teeming struggling and hardworking youths by returning to responsible and unwavering patronage and boosting encouragement that will in turn help us towards regaining and getting back into our hands the very great economy of our land.
IDOMA YOUTHS, WE MUST PREVAIL PROFITABLY, FRUITFULLY AND PRODUCTIVELY IN OUR LAND AND EVENTUALLY TAKE BACK INTO OUR HANDS THE VERY GREAT ECONOMY OF OUR LAND FROM STRANGERS.
