Aagboko Day: Otukpo stands still as Ochacho brothers grace biggest social cultural festival in Idoma community

The 2021 edition of social cultural festival of the native Otukpo people of Aagboko extraction on Sunday, April 4th, recorded its biggest feat in history as the CEO of Ochacho Real Homes, King Mohammed Odeh Adah (Ochacho), and the CEO of Atilary Studios, Hon. Alex Ogbe Enokela (Ochacho Jnr), a House of Representative aspirant for Otukpo/Ohimini Federal Constituency and their entourage graced the occasion.

The annual festival is always geared towards a committed cause for peace building, progress and socio-economic development of the people and the land.

The duo of King Moh and Hon. Ogbe who clearly stated and demonstrated high regards and respect for cultural values, noted that they understand that there is no greater heritage than culture and no greater support than consultation with the people.

The real estate mogul and CEO of Ochacho Real Homes, Adah while making his speech, commended the the people for putting together a very rich and outstanding display of cultural heritage through dancing, music, arts and other entertainments.

“It is very impressive to see how rich our culture remains despite the influence of the western world.

“Our people have demonstrated unswerving faith in preserving our heritage and as children of the land, it is our duty to steady give our support to whenever we are called upon.

“Ochacho Foundation has already undertook some community development projects which includes the reconstruction of the venue of this great programme which is Otukpo community Secondary School. You all can see how far we’ve gone here and by the special Grace of God, it will be ready and due for commissioning soon.

“Our electricity project has provided several communities with thousands of street lights already but we are still procuring more ensure that reach more communities outside Otukpo like Ohimini,” the philanthropist said.

Hon. Alex Ogbe Enokela on his part reiterated Ochacho Foundation’s commitment to liberate the land, saying that “We’ve been in darkness for so long but you all can be rest assured now that Light Has Come through Ochacho Foundation.”

Top dignitaries present at the auspicious event include: His Royal Highness Chief Dr. John O. Eimonye OON Och’ Otukpo Odu, Royal Father of the day, Mr Entonu Godfrey Enyikwola, Chairman of the occasion, Chief Ade Adoga, President General K’Aagboko, Chief David Onyilokwu Ekwo, Ojoko K’Otukpo, et’al.

The leadership of the Aagboko clan and Otukpo area council unanimously appreciated the Ochacho brothers while blessing and praying for their continuous growth in their businesses and endeavours at all times.
