Abba Kyari: Controversial Brekete Radio’s founder Ahmed Isa backs indicted cop

Mr Ahmad Isah, also known as ‘Ordinary President’, the Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Human Rights Radio and Television, has said that Deputy Commissioner of Police Abba Kyari, who was suspended after being indicted by the United States in an international fraud case, should not go down for one mistake.

Speaking on his breakfast radio/television programme on 101.1 FM in Abuja on Tuesday, Isah disclosed that Kyari has done too well to go down, adding that America is not heaven.

Kyari was indicted by the Federal Bureau of Investigation, FBI, in a fraud case against internet and cybercrime fraudster, Ramon Abass, popularly known as Hushpuppi.

The indictment was followed by an order for his arrest, which was issued to the FBI by the US Attorney’s Office in the Central District of California.

Following the revelation, IGP Usman Baba had recommended Kyari’s suspension pending the outcome of investigations.

But Kyari had since denied the allegations but admitted acting as a go-between for the internet fraudster and a local tailor in which Hushpuppi purportedly made payments.

Speaking in pidgin English, Isah said; “This thing wey Abba Kyari enter, many police officers dey celebrate, ineffective police officers. Some of them are gossip machines, some wey be wives, na men dem be, but dem be wives to their ogas.
