Abba Moro announces foreign scholarship for 50 Idoma students

Senator Abba Patrick Moro, representing Benue South Senatorial District and serving as the Minority Leader of the Senate, has unveiled a foreign scholarship program aimed at supporting 50 indigent students across the nine local government areas of Benue South.
The scholarship initiative, set to commence in the September/October 2025 academic session, is designed to ease the financial burden on low-income families and provide access to high-quality education abroad.
Senator Moro emphasized that the program underscores his commitment to educational empowerment and human capital development within the district.

Interested candidates must have at least five credits in their O’Level results, including English and Mathematics. The selection process will be merit-based, and qualified candidates will be chosen from each of the nine local government areas to pursue studies in the designated fields abroad.
