Abba Moro distributes wheelchairs to persons with disabilities in Benue South
The Senate Minority Leader and Senator representing Benue South Senatorial District, Senator Dr. Abba Moro, on Saturday, October 11, 2025, distributed wheelchairs to persons living with disabilities across the nine Local Government Areas of Zone C.
While presenting the items to beneficiaries, Senator Moro reaffirmed his belief that “there is ability in disability,” assuring continuous empowerment programs for persons with disabilities, just like other groups who benefit from his initiatives across the district.
The Executive Secretary, National Commission for Persons Living with Disabilities, Barr. Ayuba Burki Gufan, commended Senator Moro for his compassion and commitment to the welfare of the less privileged, praying for God’s blessings upon him.
Also speaking, the Benue State PDP Chairman, Rt. Hon. Ezekiel Adaji, lauded Senator Moro for reaching out across party lines, describing him as a “Senator for all,” who puts humanity above politics.
