Comrade Abba Moro, immediate past Minister of Interior and senatorial candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party in Benue South, Comrade Abba Moro, has reacted to the death Idoma-born gospel music legend, Peter Otulu.
Moro described the death of Otulu as a great loss to the Idoma community and the Nigeria’s gospel music industry at large.
The former minister said he being a fan of the music minister right from his youth days and still enjoys his inspirational music till today.
“What a great and sad loss to the Idoma community and the nation’s gospel music industry at large. I received the news of his death with rude shock.
“Our community has lost an icon.
“He touched so many lives with his songs and I could recall vividly how one of his songs, Opechi changed our land.
“Otulu is indeed a legend and I urge the Benue State government to immortalize him by naming a structure after him.
“I mourn with his wife, Lady Ojoma, his children, Ojo, Inalegwu, Godwin, Princess Ondugbe and Daniel.
“May God give them the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.”
