Abba Moro receives over 3,000 APC, SDP members who defected to PDP in Benue

Distinguished Senator Abba Moro, Sunday morning, attended Mass at the Holy Name Parish Catholic Church, Ugbokolo, for the Thanksgiving of Ochek’awo Women Leaders, Ugbokolo.

The women, under the leadership of Lady Titi Moro, used the occassion to thank God for His faithfulness upon their lives, families and Benue South at large.

From Ugbokolo, the Senator proceeded to Otukpo for the Grand reception/birthday and book launch in honour of Rt. Rev. Prof. Obeka Samuel Sunday (JP), Methodist Bishop of Evangelism and Discipleship. The event was at Norcross Cathedral. The Senator, in his speech, congratulated Rev. Obeka on his attainment in the vineyard of God, and his birthday anniversary. He prayed for more grace upon the Bishop and wished him many more happy and healthy years ahead.

Also in Otukpo, the Senator met briefly with the Benue State PDP Chairman, Sir John Ngbede, for presentation of a car gift.

The car is an appreciation for Sir Ngbede’s sterling leadership and efforts that have continued to give PDP victory in Benue South and Benue State at large, and also to ease his movement towards strengthening the party for more victories. Senator Moro assured the party Chairman of his resolve to always stand by him and the party at all times.

From Otukpo, Senator Moro moved to Apa LGA, in company of Sir John Ngbede and other dignitaries, to receive defectors from APC and SDP to the ruling PDP.

The Senator told the defectors that they made the best political decision, to dump their former parties for the PDP. He assured them of fair treatment, stating that he, on his part, would give them all the necessary support for the actualization of their personal and collective dreams and aspirations.
