Abba Moro vs Lawani: What happened in court on Monday

At the Tribunal sitting today Monday, June 17th, 2019. Chief Lawani being unable to make out a case against Comrade Senator Abba Moro with the witnesses he has, made a plea vide an application to the Tribunal to be allowed to call more witnesses to do so.

Counsel to the Senator vehemently opposed this application on the ground that this is tantamount to shopping for witnesses to make a non existent and frivolous case.

PDP’S counsel submitted that the petition has a fatal flaw and should be thrown out because it was not signed by the Petitioner, Lawani, as required by law.

The case is further adjourned to July 1st.
