Kano Pillars football club have appointed Abdulai Maikaba as their new head coach for the upcoming Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) season. The announcement was made following the departure of Evans Ogenyi, who had played a crucial role in guiding the Sai Masu Gida back to the NPFL.
Maikaba is no stranger to the club, as he previously served as their head coach before taking on the role of guiding the Flying Eagles. Now, he returns to Kano Pillars to lead the team once more.
As he settles into his new position, Maikaba is expected to take charge of the team’s training session scheduled for Tuesday. The players will be back in action after a two-week break, ready to begin preparations for the forthcoming NPFL campaign under their newly appointed coach.
