Abigail Edith Frederick, a talented makeup artist in Nollywood, whose life was tragically claimed in a boating accident on the River Niger, along with five other film colleagues, including the renowned actor Junior Pope.

The somber burial ceremony witnessed heartfelt expressions of grief from relatives and friends who gathered to pay their final respects. Governor Umo Eno, after personally consoling the grieving family, ordered the exhumation of Frederick’s remains from her initial burial site by the River Niger, ensuring she received a proper interment in her hometown as per local customs.
