Benue State Deputy Governor Benson Abounu yesterday on behalf of Governor Samuel Ortom presented a budget draft of N196.5 billion for 2019 fiscal year, to the State House of Assembly.
The deputy governor said the economic sector took the highest share of N86.4 billion followed by the social sector with N52.9 billion.
He said the recurrent expenditure stood at N106.3bn; and capital expenditure, N90.1billon.
Speaker Titus Uba said the House would ensure speedy passage of the budge.
