Applicants interested in joining the Nigerian Air Force as Non-Tradesmen/women must meet the following academic criteria:
Minimum Educational Qualification: Applicants must possess a minimum of five (5) credits in their SSCE, NECO, GCE, or NABTEB exams. These credits must include Mathematics and English Language.
Number of Sittings: The required credits must be obtained in no more than two (2) sittings.
School Testimonials: In addition to the above, applicants must also provide testimonials from their schools, which serve as verification of their educational background.
Applicants looking to join as Tradesmen/women must meet both academic and professional requirements, depending on their specific trade:
National Diploma (ND)/National Certificate of Education (NCE): Applicants must have at least a lower credit in their ND or NCE from accredited institutions. Additionally, they must possess a minimum of five (5) credits, including Mathematics and English, in not more than two (2) sittings of SSCE/NECO/GCE/NABTEB.

Important Note: Applicants holding Higher National Diploma (HND), First Degrees, Post-Graduate Certificates, or University Diplomas will not be considered for recruitment as airmen or airwomen in the Nigerian Air Force and should refrain from applying. Those with medical qualifications must also present proof of registration with the relevant professional bodies, along with a valid practicing license.
