The Special Adviser to Governor Samuel Ortom of Benue State on Local Government and Chieftaincy Matters in the Bureau For Local Government And Chieftaincy Affairs, Hon. Barr. Kenneth Achabo, has commissioned the tomatoes and other perishable goods market in Eupi mini market, Otukpo.
The Special adviser who was accompanied by the Director of Chieftaincy Affairs in the Bureau, Mrs Racchael Chia and other officials of the Bureau, while commisioning the market commended the Otukpo Local Government Chairman, Rt. Hon. George Alli, for taking the initiative to properly relocate the traders to a more secure location for both the traders and buyers of perishable goods.
According to Hon. Achabo; “The decisions of your Local Government Chairman, Hon. George Alli to relocate the perishable goods traders to a secure location where the traders and the people who patronize them will feel free from worries of possible accident is heart warming and welcoming. In the end, it is a win win situation for all. I commend him for the initiative.”
Speaking after the brief commisioning ceremony, Hon. Alli said he is delighted to have Hon. Barr. Achabo commision the project and thanked the Special adviser for always standing by Otukpo Local Government.
He equally thanked the leadership of perishable traders and their members for their understanding and cooperation with the Council.
